The project entails consultations with the local communities inside and in the buffer zone of the reserve, public and private entities in order to present the new management plan of the NNR. A number of strategies such as community engagement and development, law enforcement, fire management, business management and enterprise planning, zoning and land use planning, and mining have been presented to the interested and affected parties. The information collected is analyzed and integrated in the Management Plan and information generated through these meetings is submitted to the Government at the district, provincial and national levels.
